The Brief
Sizing uncertainty creates costly friction across apparel e-commerce: customers hesitate before checkout, and unsuitable selections add shipping, reverse-logistics, inspection, repackaging, and restocking costs. An online retail client needed a practical sizing layer that worked without depth sensors, specialist cameras, or application installation.
The resulting module guides the shopper into a calibrated low-distortion capture zone, extracts 3D pose landmarks from a standard webcam, estimates physical torso measurements, and returns a brand-specific recommended size with a confidence score. Its modular API architecture supports integration with Shopify storefronts, custom React or Node.js products, and in-store kiosks.
