Privacy policy

Clear handling.
Respectful by design.

Effective August 24, 2026. How information is handled across this portfolio, its contact form and related professional services.

Plain-language notice

This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Client product owners should obtain qualified legal review for app-store disclosures, children’s privacy, advertising, location, biometric or regulated-data requirements in their target markets.

01

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Fareed Tahir handles personal information through this portfolio, its contact form and related professional conversations. It applies when you browse the website, submit an enquiry, communicate about a project or provide materials for AR, VR, WebAR, game, application or integration work.

When work is delivered for a client-owned product, that client may be responsible for the product and its end-user data. The client product’s own privacy notice and the applicable project agreement may also apply.

02

Information that may be collected

Information you provide may include your name, email address, selected service, project description, company details, meeting notes, files, technical requirements, proposals, contract information and correspondence.

The hosting provider may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referral information, security events and server diagnostics.

03

How information is collected

Information is collected directly when you submit the contact form, send an email, arrange a call, provide feedback or share project materials. Limited technical information may be generated automatically by the web server, security systems and embedded services when the site is requested.

04

How information is used

Information is used to respond to enquiries, understand requirements, prepare estimates or proposals, arrange meetings, deliver and support agreed work, maintain correspondence, protect the website, prevent abuse and meet contractual, accounting or legal obligations.

Your contact details are not used for unrelated bulk marketing, and personal information submitted through this portfolio is not sold.

05

Contact form and email delivery

The contact form sends your name, email address, selected service and project details to a server-side email service. Enquiries are delivered to fareed@fareedtahir131.com and fareedtahir131@gmail.com. Your email address is included as the reply address so Fareed can respond.

A short-lived server session may be used to limit repeated submissions and reduce spam. The website does not store a public account or contact-form database.

06

Client projects and supplied materials

Project work may involve files, images, video, audio, 3D models, source code, product information, credentials, API documentation, test data or other materials supplied by a client. These materials are used only for agreed planning, development, testing, delivery and support purposes.

Clients should share only information they are authorized to provide and should avoid including unnecessary personal, confidential or regulated data.

07

Immersive, camera, spatial and location data

This portfolio does not request access to your camera, microphone, precise location or device sensors. Individual client applications displayed in the portfolio may use camera, spatial tracking, controllers, maps, GPS or related capabilities as part of their functionality.

For client products, permissions, processing, storage and disclosures depend on the product design and the client’s privacy requirements. Product owners should maintain an accurate product-specific privacy notice and platform permission descriptions.

08

Cookies, server logs and embedded media

This portfolio does not intentionally use advertising cookies. An essential session cookie may be created when the contact form is submitted for security and rate limiting. Hosting infrastructure may retain standard access or security logs.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process limited technical and browser signals, including an IP address, device or browser characteristics and challenge results, for website security and spam prevention. This processing is subject to Cloudflare’s applicable privacy terms.

Some project pages embed video from YouTube. Loading or playing embedded media may allow that provider to receive technical information or apply its own cookies according to its privacy policy and your settings.

09

When information may be shared

Information may be processed by hosting, email, cloud, communication or professional-service providers only where needed to operate the website, deliver an enquiry or perform agreed work. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or security, or with your instructions.

Client project information is not intentionally disclosed to unrelated clients.

11

Data retention

Enquiry and project correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active engagement, provide support, maintain business records, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting requirements. Retention depends on the nature of the information and the relationship.

Hosting and security logs may be retained for limited operational periods. Project materials may be returned, deleted or archived according to the applicable agreement.

12

Security

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information, including encrypted website transport when deployed with HTTPS, authenticated email delivery, restricted access and keeping SMTP credentials outside the public website directory. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Please do not submit passwords, private keys, payment-card details, government identifiers or other highly sensitive information through the general contact form.

13

International processing

This portfolio is operated from Lahore, Pakistan and is available worldwide. Hosting, email and other service providers may process information in other countries where data-protection rules may differ. Appropriate contractual and technical safeguards should be used where required.

14

Children’s privacy

The portfolio and its contact form are intended for business and professional audiences and are not directed to children. Personal information from children is not knowingly collected through the contact form. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please request its removal.

15

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where applicable. Requests can be sent to fareed@fareedtahir131.com. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.

17

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, contact process, services or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
